Here at RCK, the quality of work output from the R&D consulting team is something I take personally and we all strive to ensure is of the highest order. All our consultants are trained in technical subjects with specific sector specialisms encouraged based upon prior experience, and our consultants are trained in corporation tax and specifically R&D tax legislation to ensure that when claims are compiled both the technical and financial elements are robustly prepared based upon the qualifying activity undertaken by clients (adhering to the BEIS guidelines) and costs identified that are allowable as defined in the CIRD/CTA.
Every R&D tax relief claim that is submitted to His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs is scrutinised by an independent senior member of the team with specific checklists for the technical and financial elements signed off before any claim can be finalised and submitted. Our clients have total visibility over our processes, with the reports and financials being signed off by a senior officer of the company prior to submission.
We strongly feel that only through this highly robust QA process can we in good faith prepare and submit claims for our clients that are compliant with the legislation and present to HMRC the required evidence to substantiate the R&D activity being claimed for.
