2nd December 2024, London: RCK Partners has today further bolstered its leadership team with new appointments to its newly formed Board of Directors.
Lord Iain McNicol, former General Secretary of the Labour Party, joins RCK as a Non-Executive Director. Lord McNicol will bring a wealth of experience from a thirty-year career working across politics, business and trade unions.
Former Chancellor of the Exchequer Lord Phillip Hammond will also join the Board, having previously acted as a Senior Advisor to the business. Lord Hammond will build on his existing role advising on corporate strategy, the macroeconomic environment, political policy and the tax landscape, as well as providing advice to the senior leadership team as the business continues to grow.
The appointments to the Board follow the announcement last week of the appointments of James Gibson as CEO and Peter Roscoe as President. Andrew Roscoe, Partner at the organisational consulting and leadership advisory firm Egon Zehnder, will Chair the new Board, with Peter Clark as R&D Technical Director, Wayne Boorer as CFO and Sophie Spells, the current General Counsel and Head of Legal, Data and Compliance at RCK, assuming the role of company secretary.
Together, the Board will play a crucial role in guiding RCK’s strategic direction and in sustaining strong governance as the business continues to grow.
